Since our founding, White Glove Moving & Storage has been a Singer Island moving company residents can count on. Founded by sewing machine magnate Paris Singer, stunning Singer Island is a top choice for those vacationing in the Palm Beaches or looking to make a move. Firstly, you will find pristine beaches, sunny weather, world class fishing, crystal clear snorkling and Scuba diving.   That is because, the warm Gulfstream waters and balmy Atlantic Ocean breezes combine to provide an ideal year round climate. The vote is out, that Singer Island’s long sandy beaches may be the best in Florida. Certainly, one can simply relax in the sun, or enjoy boating, cycling, snorkeling, sailing,  and blue water fishing at any time.  Conveniently, it is just minutes away from famous golf courses at PGA, shopping and entertainment at historic Clematis Street, City Place, Worth Avenue and the Palm Beach Gardens Mall. Geographically, Singer Island is 3 miles  from North Palm Beach, 5.4 miles from West Palm Beach, and also just 5.4 miles from Palm Beach Gardens.  Additionally, it is only 6.2 miles  from Juno Beach 10.6 miles from Jupiter.

In 1906, the first available record of a settlement on Singer Island was with Inlet City. Back in the day, Inlet City was a spontaneous community of fishermen and squatters, most of whom came from Riviera Beach and the Bahamas.  Until 1925, Singer Island was isolated from the mainland. In that year, the county built the wooden “Sherman Point” bridge from Riviera Beach to Singer Island to accommodate Paris Singer’s proposed Blue Heron Hotel. Sadly, this bridge from Sherman Point was destroyed in the hurricane of 1928 and was not rebuilt until 1935. Likewise, Singer Island remained desolate after the 1928 hurricane and the following years of depression. As a result, fishermen continued to take advantage of the abundance of crabs, clams, and many varieties of fish about the island’s shores. Finally, in 1949, the concrete and steel Blue Heron lift span was constructed in 1949. To this day, the eastern half of this bridge remains as a fishing pier. Today, Singer Island is a picturesque, upscale and pristine home to thousands of condo owners. Interestingly, the tallest building is the 42-story “Tiara”, which has been severely damaged by several hurricanes since 2004. Famously, Singer Island is home to professional golfer Michelle McGann, a longtime resident, and was also home to rocker and E Street Band member Clarence Clemons.

In conclusion, White Glove Moving & Storage is a high end mover with the knowledge to move people into and out of the Singer Island area.  Likewise, our Singer Island moving company has the ability to provide short and long term storage solutions during renovations. Better still, it is always a complimentary survey. From full pack and moves to a complete installation with your interior designer, trust White Glove Moving & Storage.
