Movers Supporting the Community

Movers Supporting the Community

Without a doubt, White Glove Moving, Storage & Delivery is proud to be an active supporter of the communities we serve. Thankfully, there is a culture of teamwork and community empowerment in our organization. Additionally, we are firm believers that customers enjoy doing business with companies who support where they work and play.

To help get to know White Glove’s philanthropic endeavors, listed below are a few of the local organizations we partner with:

treasure coast premier womens network

Dedicated to helping empower and foster relationships for business women within the local community, the Premier Women’s Network meets three times a month. Though the venues vary, the meetings run from 11:30am-1:30pm with the program starting at 12pm. Women are encouraged to bring business cards and a door prize.  For more information, secure a ticket or sign up to be a featured speaker; please visit www.tcpremierwomensnetwork.com.

Treasure Coast Food Bank

The Treasure Coast Food Bank provides 400 very active pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior housing, and low-income day-care centers. TCCFB also operates various mobile food pantries throughout the four county area.  TCCFB also assists pantries that provide backpacks to hundreds of children on the weekend. The backpacks are disbursed to qualifying children on Friday afternoon by various schools. Organized food drives are also greatly appreciated. Thanks to companies like White Glove Moving & Storage, the Treasure Coast Food Bank is able to offer ongoing assistance even throughout the summer months for families with kids in need of extra food aide.

Move for Hunger: Movers Supporting the Community

As you may be aware, many people throw out a good deal of “stuff” when they move.  Unfortunately, a lot of this “stuff” is food that could be delivered to a family in need rather than thrown away.  That’s where Move for Hunger comes in …

By teaming up with relocation companies across the country, Move For Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs.  Hence, movers offer to pick up the unwanted, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks.

The Buggy Bunch

From food to moms with kids, White Glove Moving works closely with The Buggy Bunch.  For starters, our companies provide a nice discount for their discount cards .  Additionally, we provide  ongoing year-round support with a wide variety of events and activities such as Kids blast, Mother’s Day and more.  With total conviction, White Glove believes in the power of positive families and as those families grow, downsize or need to relocate for work; we are here to help.

Keep Indian River Beautiful

Caring for our community’s environment is important to our team. Consequently, White Glove Moving, Storage & Delivery assists in organized clean-ups and Adopt-A-Road programs with Keep Martin Beautiful and Keep Indian River Beautiful. Most noteworthy, we practice environmentally sound techniques including: reusing boxes, investing in rechargeable equipment and recycling.  It is our desire to make a positive impact in where we live as well as the surrounding areas. As a result of these efforts and more, White Glove Moving & Storage was proud to be named the Environmental Company of the Year by KIRB.
