White Glove Moving & Storage Earns Esteemed 2017 Angie’s List Super Service Award

Vero Beach, FL.– White Glove Moving is proud to announce that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA). This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2017.

Angie’s List Super Service Award 2017 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, which include maintaining an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade and review period grade. The SSA winners must be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check, record a current trade license attestation and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.

Service company ratings are updated continually on Angie’s List as new, verified consumer reviews are submitted. Companies are graded on an A through F scale in multiple fields ranging from price to professionalism to punctuality.

Summer Food Drive was a Tremendous Success!

Over 40 businesses throughout the Treasure Coast participated in the 2018 Summer Food Drive to benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank and the 200+ soup kitchens and food pantries they support. Along with the donations of several moving customers, White Glove Moving & Storage was thrilled to exceed the 1,000 lb. goal by more than double. With three full pallets, the community wide effort yielded almost 2,400 lbs. of food which equates to roughly 1,900 meals.

White Glove Moving, agent for Bekins Vanlines, hosts two food drives each year as part of Move for Hunger; one in the summer and one in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now in its sixth consecutive year, participation continues to grow. As the food drive hosts, White Glove delivers boxes to all participating locations and customers then arranges for pickup of the full boxes a few weeks later; making it easy and fun for all who commit to the cause.

Let’s join forces and raise 1,000 lbs. of food for the White Glove Moving Annual Summer Food Drive!

Be a box host by emailing AnnaV@WhiteGloveUSA.net and we will arrange for delivery of an empty box and pick up of your full one.  All who participate whether it is a business, community clubhouse or  church will be acknowledged on social media and in all press releases.

Moving? Donate the food in your pantry. White Glove will give you a free box and collect it at the time of your move. Though Move for Hunger is a program we do all year long, joining forces with local businesses during the summer makes a big impact on those in need when school is out of session.

The Treasure Coast Food bank helps supply food to over 200 food pantries and soup kitchens in the area for folks who can’t get to the TC Food Bank directly. Every bit helps and we appreciate your assistance.

White Glove: BBB Torch Award Winner for Business Ethics

White Glove Moving, Storage & Delivery, agent for Bekins Van Lines, was pleased to accept the 2018 “Large Company” Torch Award for Business Ethics during the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of South East Florida and the Caribbean’s inaugural awards luncheon.  Companies were nominated by peers in the business community that sought to highlight the high standards of leadership and organizational ethics performed by for-profit entities broken down into small, medium and large categories based on the number of full-time employees.

Each of the 75 plus companies nominated submitted information regarding their ethical relationships with customers, employees and vendors which translates into a high level of trust in the communities they serve.  The rigorous review of true character for each business included a deep examination of how they adhere to the six principles of TRUST.   Winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges appointed for their own commitment to high ethical standards.

“Communicate to Differentiate,” rang true to the judges when selecting White Glove Moving, Storage and Delivery of Florida for their winner in the Large Company category with 50+ employees.  In an industry that often gets a bad reputation for rogue movers and price gouging, it was refreshing for White Glove to be recognized for their efforts to go above and beyond when it comes to customer service, communication and compassion during the often stressful time of a move.  The company’s ability to perform great work, reinvest in its employees and contribute to the community; making it an area families want to move to, live in and be proud of are just a few of the reasons this growing business has repeatedly earned an A+ rating with the BBB, Angie’s List and Home Advisor and is proud to be the first Torch Award recipient for South East Florida and the Caribbean.

Spring is upon us and it is the perfect time of year in Florida to enjoy dining al fresco, stroll about the downtown areas and take in some evening outdoor celebrations.  Along the Treasure, Space and Gold Coasts, folks are here from all over the globe.  Many have a second residence in the area, contributing to the local economy and are proud to call this neck of the woods their home away from home.

Yet in just a few short weeks, they may be making plans to leave to return to their stomping grounds.  While away, many will have renovations and improvements done. At White Glove Moving, Storage & Delivery we can help and will work closely with the designers and property management teams to ensure everything is packed, inventoried and accounted for while being stored in our state of the art facility. Once the work is complete we will bring it all back and place everything as directed or as pictured prior to removal.

For associations, we also offer food drive boxes with free delivery and pickup to benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank.  When individuals leave for months at a time, food can go bad. Donate it instead with the help of White Glove to make it easy.

At White Glove Moving, Storage & Delivery, we are more than just “movers.” We are true professionals who give back to the communities we work in and adhere to the highest industry practices as possible.

Climate-controlled and secure, our impressive state-of-the-art facility is able to receive massive amounts of inventory brought to us by trucks of all sizes using our array of loading docks.  This type of volume and streamlined receiving process, comes in handy for our interior design customers working on hotel or clubhouse projects as well as cabinet companies with large orders and assisted living facilities undergoing renovations or building new.  Using 24/7 online access to identify receipt of goods and updates, White Glove customers are always appreciative of the “all-inclusive” services we provide to ensure deadlines are met and that projects stay within budget.

Since not all facilities are capable of receiving such large amounts of goods, nor do they offer pro-rated pricing, our team is proud to be able to provide such fair priced, much needed services.  Another advantage to having so much space is the ability to help local charities and events when in need.  More times that not, we can store and deliver items on their behalf whether it’s furniture during a renovation or pool tables donated that were not yet ready for placement.

Other fun stuff we store includes our outdoor festival items consisting of customized tent, games and more that allow us to meet and greet the public, answer their questions about moving and delivery services as well as gain incite into the needs of the areas we service. Most recently  Bark in the Park, Gardenfest in Vero Beach, Art on the Island and Arts Fest in Martin County have been attended and all did a terrific job of showcasing why we live, move and work here; the Treasure Coast really is a treasure.
