  • One in four home sellers are 65 or older
  • It has been proven that older adults making a move have over thirty to fifty years’ worth of accumulated items, this is a very sensitive time and the dispersement of these goods needs to be handled with care and empathy.
  • Many families are geographically dispersed and the adult children are often not able to help with the moving process due to distance, career, and family obligations…senior moving

White Glove Moving, Storage, & Delivery takes the frustrations out of the senior moving process and is able to handle all the downsizing and shipping needs of your loved ones from start to finish.    By helping with the distribution of items acquired over the years, White Glove can make the transition into a smaller place easier and help the owners understand these contents can be taken the donation place of their choice or stored for safe keeping until someone else can pick it up.  In addition, White Glove has teamed up with knowledgeable senior designers.  These designers help re-purpose items that cannot be parted with and make sure that all the necessities are brought into the new location then setup in a way to make the most out of the space while still being familiar and cozy.

Hurricane Help from White Glove Moving

Hurricanes are powerful storm systems with a large low pressure center that produces intense winds, as high as 80 mph, and produce very heavy rainfall. With that in mind, White Glove Moving & Storage can provide residents with peace of mind by retrieving all those outdoor furniture pieces, fixtures and more. Whether the items be moved into a safe place on the property or in our 35,000 sq. foot climate-controlled storage facility; we have the experience and fast reaction time needed to ensure the safety of your home and those around it. After all, hurricanes cause billions of dollars worth of property damage ever year to man-made fixtures as well as to natural surroundings such as trees and shrubbery. If these storms can literally change entire landscapes imagine what it could do to your backyard! Call White Glove Moving & Storage at 866-GLOVE10.

Now here are some interesting hurricane facts to digest:

  • Hurricanes have male and female names, but at one point only female names were used.
  • Most hurricanes rage harmlessly in the sea.
  • Australians call hurricanes, willy-willies.
  • Hurricane season in the Atlantic Ocean runs from June 1 to November 30.
