Ambassador of the Year for Indian River Chamber of Commerce

During the 99th Annual Business Awards celebration, the White Glove Moving & Storage team was thrilled to learn that Director of Marketing, Anna Valencia Tillery was one of the recipients for the 2020 Jack Chestnut Ambassador of the Year award. Having been a chamber member since first moving to Indian River County in 2004, Anna has been an active chamber member. Even more interesting is that she is also the long lasting young professional of the chamber with another four years to go as a YPN member. Since 2012, Mrs. Valencia Tillery has been a chamber ambassador and works diligently to recruit new members while also teaching them the ins and outs of the organization.

During 2020, the chamber began launching virtual events in May and Anna was quick to help sponsor and kick off the mixer by incorporating some fun and games. Additionally, the White Glove team made it a point to consistently attend the events each month and sponsored the big December breakfast that offered members the chance to attend in person once again.

Other recipients of this prestigious award were Rebecca Moon, Rodan & Fields and Paul Lytle, Fully Promoted as other ambassadors recognized for their efforts in participation and recruitment despite the pandemic. Of course, special recognition to the chamber’s director, Dori Stone and staff for working hard to help execute virtual and in person events during such sensitive times.

“Our local chamber is a wonderful organization that values businesses and non-profits aligning in a positive environment that fosters relation building and professional engagement. I love this group and know you get out of it, what you put in it. It’s a true honor to be recognized for my dedication to this chamber, its members and overall mission.” ~Anna Valencia Tillery
